Community Service Day
Too many cats are needlessly euthanized each year. They simply die because there are too many unwanted cats. Euthanasia is not the right answer. Our philosophy is that if more cats are spayed and neutered we could decrease the number of cats euthanized needlessly. Cat Care Hospital began ten years ago offering what is commonly known as "Community Service Day." This is featured one day each month where we reduce the cost of our spays and neuters to encourage more people to have their cat altered. Community Service Day is Cat Care Hospital's way of trying to help the community help decrease the cat overpopulation and hence decrease the number of cats that die needlessly each year. We are the only hospital in metro-Atlanta that features this. We are proud of ourselves for the part we do to try to help our community. Currently the castration price is $40.00 and the spay price is $60. For October 2006, the Community Service Day is Wednesday Oct. 4th, 2006. An appointment must be premade for this event and vaccines must be current. If your cat needs vaccines Cat Care Hospital will be able to give them on the day of the scheduled surgery.
